Today, GHC was pulled off our game project, a day before the design document is due. Why, oh why would such a silly thing happen may you ask?

  1. Teabag was talking to a potential client and saying how we were in the middle of doing an update to one of our titles, specifically with regard to how a very specific set of treatment protocols had changed since our release of the title 3 years ago. We were not actually doing an update. This was a blatant lie by Teabag.
  2. The potential client called the bluff and asked to see what the update contained.
  3. Riddler asks GHC to research treatment protocols to see what has changed in the field in the last 3 years, so we can show this to the client, to get funding for the project which doesn’t exist.
  4. GHC explains how this is a huge task, and will take about a week if we are to show anything substantive and appear like we know what we are doing, given that we are not experts in this. Also, he explains this is a bad time to drop our game project given the impending deadline.
  5. Riddler notes that he “can’t understand what we could possibly be doing on the game project, without focus groups complete yet”. He clearly doesn’t understand this design document thing we are all spending loads of time on. He asks GHC to spend 1 day tops on this treatment research.
  6. Insanity prevails.
