No Organization, No Fun
I’m reviewing a slide deck project that’s almost done. I’m reviewing the content in detail, and creating notes.
However, I later find out that I reviewed it against the wrong, old version of the content due to piss-poor organization. Meaning, most of the comments I made weren’t necessarily accurate and could result in reverting changes back to earlier incorrect versions.
There are now two versions of some content, formatted quite differently. The review notes don’t specify which version each comment applies to and that makes changes nearly impossible to rectify.
Nouveau Sidler started working on old files, on a REALLY old version of the file. At this point we should just throw all work away and start again from scratch.
It also turns out that Nouveau Sidler didn’t add in the references in the speaker notes because… he “didn’t feel like it.” That means I now have to go back and manually add them to ~190 pages of the print version.
Effin’ hell.
