In A Meeting
One of our biggest client calls, looking for a recent update we’d done for them.
I put them on hold, not really having knowledge of this particular situation.
I pass the call to Riddler but he passes it back to me with the instruction to respond by saying: “Tell them the person they need to talk to is in a meeting.”
Of course, that’s a flat out lie. But the direction typically from day 1 is to lie to the client in order to ‘solve’ a problem.
