The new guy (Handy) has been here 2 weeks. Today, he called in sick (“I’ve been fighting it all week, it’s just going to get worse if I’m in today”).

Fair enough. I let Riddler know.

Later on, Riddler approaches.

Riddler:
So how’s he working out, is he enjoying his time here?
HPDEB:
Hard to say, he’s definitely into the problem and solving it, but a little hard to read.
Riddler:
Yeah. just you know, sick day on a Friday, new guy.
HPDEB:
Well, he’s working out well I think.
Riddler:
Just trying to see if there’s any trust there.. You know, is he faking a sick day, you never know.
HPDEB:
Umm.. he’s working out well as far as I’m concerned.

So he managed to at least make it very clear that he can’t trust anyone. Remember, this is the guy who spends the majority of his in-office time (which amounts to about 15 hours a week) concentrating on personal hobbies.
