A possible client lead (who I’ve met before) calls me about a new project this morning.

NewClient:
I went to your website but it shuffled me over to some product website. Where’s the company information?
HPDEB:
Yeah, we don’t have a web presence for the company itself. Just for that product. We know it’s a problem but that’s not our focus right now even though we’re positioning ourselves as an interactive media company.
NewClient:
Ok. Anyways. So you’re receiving a finders fee for this right?
HPDEB:
Umm, no unfortunately not.
NewClient:
I guess we’ll have to negotiate that with Riddler in advance next time. I figured that was just standard business practice/decency. Oh well.
