To illustrate how out of touch Riddler is with the day-to-day operations of this place, I present an overview of our status meeting this morning. As background, the status meeting was for a project which was still an idea but with many, many important issues still unresolved (let alone considered).

Riddler’s first comment, ‘When are we starting production?’ demonstrates his misunderstanding that one would start producing a project before knowing what it is. We haven’t even completed 50% of the conceptual work yet, let alone an initial concept or focus group to test that concept.

His next comment, “We’re wasting time. We’re burning money by not building the project right now.” Of course, we don’t know what the project is yet, so how can we build it? And since we’re not actually producing it yet, how is it that we’re burning money on its production?

This isn’t our first project. This is about our 50th. One would think he’d grasp the concept by now.
